I was born in Waupaca, Wisconsin and grew up in the small town of Manawa, Wisconsin. Attending Saint Paul Lutheran School and Little Wolf High School coupled with extensive travel with my family has given me expansive social skills as well as an easily adaptive  personality.

With an early penchant and appreciation for business and politics as a child, I knew I wanted to pursue an education focused and grounded in business. Originally wanting to be an Investment Banker, I spent my childhood studying the stock market and economic fundamentals. As I grew older, I dedicated myself to the study of Henry Ford, Warren Buffet, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates.  Through the study of these great American philanthropists, I
began to encase myself within the teaching of Church theology and became involved in the community of Manawa, it is in these actions that I fell in love with helping individuals. This passion became my motivation to work and study hard as to inspire other students who felt overwhelmed.

Being the only college student in my immediate family has been menacing as I try to balance work, school, and community engagement. Having the opportunity to travel to Australia, as a student ambassador, and Vietnam paired my his small town background has given me the faith that I can take my dreams to a corporate level.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2010. During my studies I was involved with several organizations on campus, including Associated Students of Madison, Union Council, and Joint West Campus Area Committee. Additionally, I work at the UW Foundation responsible for reconnecting UW alumni with their Alma mater, informing alumni about current events on campus, and raising funds for departmental programs and initiatives. Hobbies include working on web design projects, photography, monitoring the financial markets, reading, working with Manawa CARES, a non-profit organization I helped incorporate in my hometown of Manawa, WI.

Michael's Motto:

I will exemplify the values of charity, goodwill, and hope. I will not be put down by the struggles ahead but will rise to the occasion, to face the challenge head on. I will not accept defeat, accepting nothing less than the passion of pursuit.

You can never be the person you want to be if you are always looking back, behind your shoulder to what could have been!
